Also exchange reground cranks on the shelf. And in most cases supply oversize bearings to suit.
Valves can be cleaned, de coked, refaced and replaced, also the seats can be refaced and we can also fit hardened seats to convert heads to ‘lead free’ to enable older car engines to run on lead free petrol when they were designed for use with 4 star petrol.
Often when a cam belt snaps or jumps teeth, valves hit pistons, bending the valves but also breaking the valve guides, we can replace broken guides.
HEADS OFF THE SHELF
Both reconditioned and brand new, or you can have your own head de-coked, repaired and reconditioned if you wish.
Wait, save your condemned head with our head savers. These stainless shims make it possible to machine previously scrap heads, and on diesel applications declares an end to the expensive task of resetting valve heights/depths after machining the head face.
We can weld heads and blocks in some cases saving an engine from being scrapped.
We rebuild engines where possible to a very high standard, also we supply new and rebuilt engines. To reflect the high quality engine work we strongly recommend Victor Reinz for gaskets and sealing products.
We can supply new con rods when broken or bent, also we fit new small and big-end bearings.
